1905 REO






a Stewart and Clark speedometer, not a Stewart Warner. I need to look into that and see if this was the same company before a merger or other business deal




the license plate is leather, and the aluminum ones weren't the uniform plate size and material yet, that would be another 10 years or so in the making. Also, note that the steering wheel and drivers seat are on the right hand side, as left side driving position also wasn't uniform yet

a variety of things I saw at the Muckenthaler Concours


New cars seem to all have one color interiors, 2 at most if the carpet is contrasting the upholstery. It wasn't always as drab and boding as it it now. It was far more colorful in the 50's and 60's


the red item is a very early Model T tire lock.. no way you'd steal a Model T with one of these on the wheels.

the spare tire hidden in the inner fender in this station wagon surprised me.







I don't remember ever seeing  Walker coachbuilder tag before
